We are looking for an experienced immigration paralegal who will prepare immigration filings and handle case management and communications. Our paralegals work closely with highly involved, accessible, and skilled attorneys and an excellent administrative team. We are looking for collaborative, detail-oriented immigration paralegals who are passionate about helping immigrants. Requirements

Job Duties:


  • Prepare cases involving employment immigration, family immigration, naturalization, and relief for survivors of domestic violence and other crimes (with strong attorney and administrative support).

  • Independently and proactively manage high volume caseload in a fast-paced environment including document review, preparation, and filing immigration cases.

  • Communicate both orally and in writing with individual and corporate clients, as well as government agencies.

  • Monitor deadlines and expiration dates, follow office procedures and attorney directions.

  • Manage client communication and government correspondence.

  • Provide exceptional customer service.

  • Work directly with the team of attorneys and partners to ensure the highest quality of legal representation for our clients.

  • Take special projects and other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:


  • Bilingual English-Spanish preferred.

  • Demonstrated commitment to immigrants; and civil rights issues.

  • Strong desire to advance and grow professionally within the firm and in the immigration legal community.

  • Highly organized, proactive, and detailed oriented.

  • Works well under pressure and understands the importance of deadlines.

  • Strong communication skills – on the phone, via email, and in person.

  • Professional and courteous; positive attitude.

  • Self-starter; quick learner; impeccable ethics.

  • Competitive base pay based on experience.


Education:


  • Bachelor’s Preferred


Experience:


  • US Immigration Law,1 year (Preferred)
