Meet the Antonini & Cohen Team: David Nieto
Originally from Guanajuato, Mexico, David Nieto moved to the United States with his parents when he was six years old. He grew up in Hendersonville, North Carolina, and graduated from Young Harris College in 2013 with a degree in business and public policy along with a minor in communications.
When he finished college and went through the process to update his Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) status, David realized what a big life change it was. He knew then where he wanted to focus his career and how he could help others. He soon garnered a job with a small immigration law firm in Hendersonville. Here, David served his community for more than five years.
After getting married, David moved to Atlanta, where he quickly learned about Antonini & Cohen. “As a paralegal, I enjoy that I can continue helping people,” he says. “At the same time, Antonini & Cohen offers so many opportunities for me to continuously expand my knowledge in a field that I’m passionate about.”
David has many hobbies outside of his work. He likes movies, video games, and books, especially those about historical events. He’s also learning about soccer from his wife (she played in college), and together they cheer on Atlanta United. When he’s not bringing his lunch, he loves the tacos at La Pastorcita on Atlanta’s Buford Highway.
