Jessica's work is guided by her commitment to protecting the rights of immigrants and ensuring they receive fair treatment under the law. Prior to joining the firm, Jessica worked at a Crimmigration practice in Atlanta where she regularly handled complex cases at the intersection of immigration and criminal law. She has experience litigating before the Immigration Court, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, and State and Superior courts. Her focus on immigration practice includes family-based cases and removal defense.
Jessica earned her law degree magna cum laude from Mercer University School of Law, where she received multiple CALI awards and participated in the Asylum and Human Rights Clinic, and interned at the District Attorney's office in the Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit. Her lived experience as part of an immigrant family helps her build trust and connection with the clients she serves. Outside of work, Jessica enjoys exploring Atlanta and listening to audio books and podcasts.
