Born and raised in France, Madeline Bercher first came to the United States in 2016 as an exchange student upon finishing her French secondary education. Madeline later moved to Georgia to study at Georgia Southern University where she obtained a double Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Modern Languages. During those four years, she was involved in representing the international community on campus and serving her fellow international students. In 2022, she permanently returned to the United States to reunite with her spouse.
Madeline is passionate about human rights, especially about working with marginalized immigrant communities to help them access the resources that will allow them to thrive. In college, she published an undergraduate honors thesis on the refugee crisis in Europe. After graduating from university, she interned with refugee resettlement organizations in Georgia and worked as a legal assistant and social worker for refugees in Paris. Upon returning to the US, Madeline joined Antonini & Cohen, where she is excited to continue serving immigrant communities.
