Antonini & Cohen Lawyers Attend, Lead Sessions at Local Immigration Law Conference

Last month, the attorneys of Antonini & Cohen attended the 2018 American Immigration Lawyers Association Georgia-Alabama Chapter (AILA GA-AL) Conference. This professional association is for attorneys who practice and teach immigration law, including more than 500 immigration attorneys in the Georgia-Alabama Chapter. The Annual Conference offers workshops and panels to help immigration attorneys sharpen their skills and stay up-to-date on recent developments in the law.

In addition to attending the conference, several Antonini & Cohen attorneys were also invited to speak as panelists:
Attorney Carolina Antonini taught attorneys about complex green card cases involving arriving aliens and paroled individuals. On her panel, “Things Every Immigration Lawyer Needs to Know,” Mrs. Antonini discussed recent legal changes that provide avenues for adjustment of status – even for some individuals with deportation orders.
