Luke Gardner was born and raised in South Georgia and moved to Metro Atlanta in 2015 to pursue an education. In 2020, he graduated from Kennesaw State University with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Emerging Media and a minor in Professional Writing. Luke’s career in journalism began with an editorial in 2016 and quickly expanded to include various types of writing and multimedia content. Covering everything from human rights issues and city council meetings to interviewing LGBTQ reality TV stars, Luke has always sought to elevate marginalized voices through his lifelong passion for writing.

For fun, Luke enjoys reading poetry and graphic novels, trying new foods, and watching reality TV and stand-up comedy. He is passionate about iced coffee and collecting books that he assures himself he will eventually read.
