Antonini & Cohen Sponsors Scott’s Run in Support of Catholic Charities

Antonini & Cohen sponsored Scott’s Run Sept. 29, helping raise more than $10,000 for Catholic Charities of Atlanta’s Immigration Legal Services Program. Our attorneys and staff joined runners from across the city for the 5K and fun run, both held at Piedmont Park.

The race honored Scott Starratt, an officer in what’s now Immigration and Customs Enforcement, who passed away in an automobile crash in 2001. Scott’s colleagues recognized the kindness he extended toward immigrant children in detention and established the race to continue his legacy of compassion.

Catholic Charities of Atlanta’s Immigration Legal Services Program provides low-cost, quality legal immigration services to more than 6,000 clients annually. Their multilingual staff specializes in immigration law and helps clients obtain permanent legal status, work through the naturalization process, or oppose deportation proceedings. The clinic also specializes in helping those most marginalized, including detained clients, survivors of domestic violence, abandoned or neglected foreign children, and victims of trafficking or crimes.

We’re happy to support this valuable program, celebrate an individual’s compassionate life, and enjoy a run through beautiful Midtown.
